Greenpeace: Fossil-Free Revolution campaign

In 2022, we joined forces with Greenpeace International and a coalition of over 30 non-profit organizations and grassroots groups. Our goal? To launch a creative call to action that would help ban fossil fuel advertising in Europe.

The task

Driving signatures to the European citizens’ initiative to ban fossil fuel advertisements

Greenpeace’s mission was to provide the European Commission with 1 million signatures, the minimum needed to legally require their response.

The solution

A call to our creative community for campaign assets

The results

A launch event attended by over 100 creatives

To promote our call for submissions, we hosted a launch event to activate our community to respond to their brief.

Over 100 creatives came to learn about the campaign and how to respond a gallery of submissions was generated within a week.

An exhibition with over 1,000 attendees

We organized an activation event at New York Climate Week alongside Clean Creatives at the Marketplace for the Future exhibit reaching over 1000 attendees.

As a result of Greenpeace’s campaign, 302,295 people signed the European Citizen’s Initiative.

In 2022, France became the first European country to ban fossil fuel advertisements.
